Peter Carroll Dip. Arch., F.R.I.A.I.

Peter has been involved in architecture for over three decades, and is a fellow of the Royal institute of Architects of Ireland. Peter graduated from Bolton Street with an honors Diploma in Architecture in 1968 and went on to gain experience in Dublin and London. Peter eventually settled in his hometown of Waterford and was a partner with O’Neill Flanagan and Associates for many years until he decided to make the brave move and set up his own practice in 1980. While maintaining a key role in design projects, in recent years Peter has also become involved in the area of building law and litigation and his expertise and attention to detail have proven to be valuable qualities in this specialist area.

Declan Carroll B.A., B. Arch., M.R.I.A.I. (irl)

Declan Carroll joined the practice in 2003 and was made a partner in 2005. Declan graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the Canterbury School of Architecture having previously studied at the Waterford Institute of Technology. Much experience was gained from working in architectural and civil engineering practices in the UK and Ireland and Declan also has qualifications in Civil Engineering and Architectural Technology. Declan’s responsibilities at the practice include practice management, finance and most importantly project design, with particular emphasis given to sustainable design. Other key areas of expertise include, conservation, interior design and planning.
